General or Local Anesthesia for Liposuction?

Model

Liposuction, as well as other procedures, can be performed under either local or general anesthesia. General anesthesia is the preferred for many reasons, at Premiere center in Tampa and Miami, our Board certified surgeons only use General anesthesia because it is much more Comfortable, Safe, and Result effective for our patients.  Under General Anesthesia patients do not have to worry about experiencing pain or discomfort due to moving around because you are completely unconscious during your surgery, you are much safer because the anesthesiologist will properly monitor you throughout your procedure as well as your Doctor can be more aggressive, and can go deeper to yield the results the patient is looking for. As oppose to Local anesthesia where the patient may feel pain, is awake during their procedure potentially causing discomfort and complications, the patient is not monitored under local anesthesia and the doctor has to go much slower and softer resulting in a longer surgery and inferior results. You do not want to cut corners when it comes to having Surgery .

Here at Premiere Center our Board Certified Surgeons have been practicing since 1994. Performing thousands of Liposuction procedures and resulting in a high patient satisfaction.
