Facial injectables are non-surgical treatments that can rejuvenate the face. Whether you have lines, wrinkles, volume loss, or sagging, injectables can help you achieve smooth skin, lifted contours, and a more youthful facial appearance.
The Benefits of Injectables
- Non-surgical facial rejuvenation
- Customized treatment options
- Restoration of smooth, full, and youthful skin
- Improved confidence and self-esteem
BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport®
BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® can treat persistent lines on your forehead and between your brows. Their core ingredient, botulinum toxin type A, blocks nerve impulses and reduces the muscle activity that causes wrinkles to form. These injectables can be injected directly into the muscles to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines). The effects last from three to six months, so touch-up treatments may be needed two to three times a year to maintain results. As the muscles become weaker from lack of use, subsequent treatments may have longer-lasting results.
JUVÉDERM® is a dermal filler that improves lines and creases in your facial skin. It is injected into the mid- to deep dermis for correction of moderate to severe wrinkles and folds such as smile lines and parentheses lines. Hyaluronic acid, the main ingredient in JUVÉDERM®, occurs naturally in your body and keeps your skin hydrated and plump. Restoring hyaluronic acid with JUVÉDERM® injections can effectively diminish wrinkling and creasing and improve the structure of your skin. The effects can last from nine months to one year and provide a smooth, natural look and feel.
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC is a dermal filler formulated to correct age-related volume loss in the midface. This filler can instantly add volume to sunken cheeks and rejuvenate your face. It leaves you with a healthy, youthful appearance with fuller cheeks and more defined facial contours. The natural-looking results of JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC treatments can last up to two years.
RADIESSE® is a dermal filler that can treat moderate to severe creases in the face, particularly around the nose and mouth. It contains calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres, which smooth out wrinkles and stimulate collagen production. Collagen gives your skin volume, flexibility, and strength; without it, your skin begins to sag and develop various lines and wrinkles. With RADIESSE® injections, you can instantly improve the structure of your skin by providing a scaffold for new collagen to form. RADIESSE® is mostly used for deep wrinkles, volume loss, marionette lines, and even scar treatment. Results may be visible for two years or more, and periodic touch-ups can help maintain the results.
Restylane® is a clear gel formula of hyaluronic acid specifically formulated for wrinkle reduction and volume enhancement in the lips, mouth, and nose area. This injectable can visibly reduce moderate to severe facial wrinkles around the nose and mouth and add volume and fullness to your lips. Restylane® is an excellent treatment for patients who want to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on their face as well as add volume to their lips to create a rejuvenated and youthful appearance. The results can last approximately six months before touch-up treatments are needed.
Sculptra Aesthetic® is a unique injectable in that its subtle, natural-looking results appear over time. Made from poly-L-lactic acid, this injectable works deep within the dermis to gradually replace lost collagen, allowing the skin to renew itself. Sculptra® Aesthetic can improve shallow to deep nasolabial wrinkles and folds, correct marionette lines, fill out hollows, and provide a more refined and youthful appearance. Results from Sculptra® Aesthetic can last more than two years.

Ideal candidates for injectable treatments are usually men and women between ages 35 and 60 (sometimes younger) who have good skin tone. Candidates typically do not have significant sun damage but want to eliminate lines and wrinkles on their face and add volume to their midface and lips. Patients who are good candidates for injectable treatments at PREMIERE Center can identify with the following:
- Fine lines, wrinkles, or deep folds on the face (e.g., nasolabial folds, smile lines, frown lines)
- Hollow cheeks and facial volume loss
- Thin or thinning lips
- Scars on the face
- Looking to prevent deep wrinkles
All injectable treatments are done on an outpatient basis at PREMIERE Center. Once our injection specialist has identified the injection points, a small needle is used to infuse the solution under the dermis layer of your skin. Multiple injections are typically needed, with the number based on the size of the treatment area. Most injectable treatments take about 15 to 30 minutes.
You may have some redness, bruising, and/or swelling at the injection sites, but these side effects should subside shortly after the treatment. You will be able to return to your activities with minimal or no interruption. Depending on your treatment, results may be immediately visible or may take time to develop. Because everyone’s anatomy is different, your results may vary.
How soon you will see your results depends on the injectable treatment you receive. As examples, the results of JUVÉDERM® treatments are immediate, the results of BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® are visible within a few days to two weeks, and the results of Sculptra® Aesthetic become visible over time as new collagen forms and replenishes the skin.
Various wrinkle treatments may be recommended depending on your needs. For example, if you are concerned about forehead wrinkles or frown lines, BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport® may be best for you. If you have deep lower face wrinkles, Sculptra® Aesthetic may be recommended. Our specialists at PREMIERE Center tailor every treatment to each patient’s individual needs and can help you determine which injectable is best for you.
Injectable treatments can vary widely based on the type and amount of product needed for each patient. Therefore, the cost of injectable treatments will be different for each individual. When you meet with one of our PREMIERE Center specialists, you will be given more details about pricing.
