Botox and Dysport have become the most highly sought-after wrinkle treatments on the market. The simplicity of the procedure, coupled with impressive results, has drawn millions of individuals who want a safe and effective way to minimize their facial wrinkles. Typically, Botox and Dysport injections are used to treat persistent lines on your forehead and between your brows. The core ingredient, botulinum toxin type A, blocks nerve impulses and reduces muscle activity that causes wrinkles to form.

As a simple, nonsurgical procedure, Botox and Dysport are directly injected into muscles to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines). An initial treatment lasts about five months. As the muscles become weaker from lack of use, some patients find subsequent treatments last longer.

Because of the treatments, many of our patients gain a smooth, relaxed-appearing, wrinkle-free brow. However, each person’s anatomy is different, so your results may vary. The effects can last from three to six months, so “touch-up” treatments may be needed two to three times a year to maintain results.

Dermal fillers can help you combat the signs of aging without having to undergo a surgical procedure. One of the fillers of choice at PREMIERE Center for Cosmetic Surgery is Juvederm, an injectable treatment that improves the lines and creases in your skin, especially in the face. It is designed to be injected into the mid- to deep dermis for correction of moderate to severe wrinkles and folds. What makes Juvederm so effective is its main ingredient, hyaluronic acid. This acid occurs naturally in your body and is important to healthy-looking skin. By attracting water molecules, hyaluronic acid keeps your skin hydrated while smoothing its appearance and adding volume. With Juvederm, men and women can effectively diminish this wrinkling and creasing by restoring hyaluronic acid and improving the structure of their skin.

The injection process takes only about 15 minutes and results are immediate. Plus, there’s minimal recovery or downtime. At the start of the treatment, our injection specialist will ease the Juvederm gel under your skin to instantly restore volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, like your “smile lines” or “parentheses” (nasolabial folds — the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth). An initial Juvederm treatment can last from nine months to a year, providing a smooth, natural look and feel.

Voluma is a gel formula approved by the FDA to correct age related volume loss caused over time to the mid face. This injectable is used by PREMIERE Center to instantly add volume to sunken cheeks and rejuvenate your face leaving you with a healthy, youthful and fuller face.

The Voluma process takes only about 15 minutes and you get a natural-looking result that can last up to 2 years. Several injections are typically needed, depending on the size of the treatment area.

PREMIERE Center often recommends Radiesse as a way to treat moderate to severe creases in your face, particularly around the nose and mouth. Collagen gives your dermal layers volume, flexibility and strength; without it, your skin begins to sag, creating various lines and wrinkles. With Radiesse injections, you can instantly improve the structure of your skin by providing a “scaffold” onto which new collagen can form.

Radiesse treatments are simple, quick, comfortable and convenient, with immediately visible results that last. In fact, this FDA-approved dermal filler is one of the longest-lasting injectable fillers available. In just one syringe, patients can achieve results that may be visible for two years or more. Periodic touch-ups may be needed, however. Also, each person’s anatomy is different, so your results from Radiesse may vary.

Restylane is a clear gel formula of hyaluronic acid specifically formulated to visibly reduce moderate to severe facial wrinkles around the nose and mouth and to add volume and fullness to your lips. PREMIERE Center often recommends Restylane to patients who want to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on their face as well as add volume to their lips to create a rejuvenated and youthful appearance.

Sculptra® Aesthetic

Sculptra® Aesthetic is the first injectable that provides subtle, natural-looking results over time. Made from poly-L-lactic acid, this injectable works deep within the dermis to gradually replace lost collagen, improve shallow to deep nasolabial wrinkles and folds, and provide a more refined, youthful appearance. Results from Sculptra® Aesthetic can last more than two years.

Are injectable treatments Right for Me?

Ideal candidates for injectable treatments are usually men and women between ages 35 and 60 who have good skin tone. They typically do not have significant sun damage, but want to eliminate lines and wrinkles on their face and add volume to their mid face and lips. Patients who are good cadidates for injectable treatments at PREMIERE Center are usually:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Deep folds
  • Thin lips
  • hollow cheeks
  • Scars
  • Lines from the nose to the outer edges of the mouth (nasolabial folds)
  • Lines from the corner of the mouth downwards
  • Smile lines
  • Looking to Prevent formation of deep wrinkles

What Can I Expect After my Injectable Treatment?

Most injectable treatments take about 15-30 minutes. Once your Injection Specialist has identified the injection points, a small needle is used to infuse the solution under the dermis layer of your skin. Several injections are typically needed, depending on the size of the treatment area.

You can expect some redness, bruising and/or swelling at the injection sites, but these side effects should subside shortly after receiving treatment. With Mst fillers results are usually immediate, with Botox/Dysport results can up to two weeks. All injectable treatments are done on an outpatient basis at PREMIERE Center. Everyone’s anatomy is different and results may vary. Call PREMIERE Center today to schedule your free consultation with our Injection Specialist.

How Much Do Injectable Treatments Cost?
