Would sutures or staples yield better results after a breast reduction?

Model

At PREMIERE Center for Cosmetic Surgery, our surgeons recommend using sutures instead of staples, especially for a breast reduction. The only advantages to using stainless steel Staple are speed and non breakage of the staple resulting in a wound disruption, however, they will leave a trail of staple marks on both sides of the scar and closure may not be as precise.  The preferred method of closure at PREMIERE Center is running buried dissolvable suture.  Closure can be precise, wound disruption is rare and there are no tracks on either side of the scar.  Closure does take a little longer, but the result is worth it.  Best of all there are few if any sutures to remove.
