How Noticeable Are the Scars After an Otoplasty?

Model

Otoplasty is performed primarly for “prominent ears” that stick out from the head and are less defined. The goal of Otoplasty is to reshape the ear to a more natural appearance. Typically scars are placed in the fold between your scalp and ears therefore making them not visible. In the immediate post operation you may experience some swelling and bruising, but once that goes down it should be very difficult to tell that you’ve had an otoplasty. At PREMIERE Center, we have been practicing the otoplasty procedures for over 19 years with our board certified plastic surgeons on staff ready to consult with you at either our Miami or Tampa locations.
