What can I do about my bald areas?

Model

Male pattern baldness is the leading cause of hair loss in American men. An estimated 35 million men in the United States are affected by male pattern baldness. Female pattern baldness is not as recognizable (as women tend to have less obvious patterns of hair loss than men) but still undesirable. Fortunately, PREMIERE Center for Cosmetic Surgery and our team of board certified plastic surgeons are fully capable and well equipped to restore hair growth for both men and women.

Hair transplantation involves moving skin containing hair-bearing follicles from a donor site (usually the back of the scalp) to the recipient site (bald or thinning areas) through animated diagram of hair folliclesa process called follicular unit extraction or FUE.

During the FUE procedure, tiny follicular units of hair are separated and extracted from the donor site and are then prepared for transplantation to the recipient sites, which are approximately 1mm in size. The harvested hairs are placed at the proper angles and highest density to reproduce natural, permanent results.
