Ear surgery, or Otoplasty, is done to set prominent ears closer to the head or to reduce the size of large ears. Otoplasty is commonly known as “ear pinning”. . PREMIERE Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Miami and Tampa has performed hundreds of safe and affordable Ear Surgery procedures over the past fifteen (15) years.

For the most part, the operation is done on children between the ages of 4 through 14, but a growing number of adults are choosing ear pinning to improve their overall look and aesthetics. Ears are almost fully grown by age four and the earlier the ear pinning, the less teasing and ridicule the child will have to endure.

At PREMIERE Center, Ear Surgery is typically a one to two-hour procedure, with minimal post-operative discomfort and little down-time. The incision is hidden behind the ear in the “ear crease”. There are no visible scars from Ear Surgery and it  is done on an outpatient basis, in the privacy and comfort of our fully accredited (AAAASF) cosmetic surgery suites in Miami and Tampa.
