Latisse® - Treatment for Eyelashes

PREMIERE Center for Cosmetic Surgery provides Latisse® to patients from Miami, Tampa Bay, St. Petersburg, Fort Lauderdale and surrounding areas.

Latisse® is the first FDA-approved prescription treatment to offer longer, fuller and darker eyelashes. It is designed to help men and women with hypotrichosis, a condition characterized by inadequate or sparse eyelashes. At PREMIERE Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Miami and Tampa Bay, our Latisse® patients improve their appearance by lengthening their eyelash growth phase and increasing the number of their eyelash hairs.

How is Latisse® Administered?

Latisse® is intended for use on the skin of the upper eyelid margins at the base of the eyelashes. The solution is believed to lengthen the growth phase of the eyelash cycle and increase the number of hairs grown during the phase. Latisse® requires a doctor's prescription, so if you think the topical solution could work for you, please set up a visit at either of PREMIERE's locations in Miami and Tampa Bay.

As a Latisse® patient, you apply the solution once each evening to the base of the upper lashes. You may start to see results from Latisse® at four weeks, with full growth expected at 16 weeks. If you stop taking Latisse®, your eyelashes are expected to return to their original appearance within a few months.

It is important to be precise when applying Latisse®. If the solution is repeatedly in contact with other areas - such as the lower eyelid, the cheeks or even the eye - there is potential for hair growth in those spots, as well.

How Much Does Latisse® Cost?

The cost of Latisse® will depend on how many applications you need to attain optimal results and to maintain it luxurious effects. Our PREMIERE staff will be happy to discuss details about Latisse® prices in Miami and Tampa Bay. Please schedule your free initial consultation with us today.

Is Latisse® Right for Me?

Both women and men can benefit from the Latisse® treatments at our facilities in Miami and Tampa Bay. However, you may not be an ideal candidate if you have a history of abnormal intraocular pressure or are on medication to control elevated intraocular pressure.

Patients who opt for Latisse® are typically bothered by lashes that are:
  • Too short

  • Too thin

  • Too sparse
What Can I Expect After Latisse®?

When using Latisse®, one of the most likely and immediate side effects is an itching sensation in the eyes and/or eye redness. Other, less common, concerns may include skin darkening, eye irritation, eye dryness and redness of the eyelids. These typically occur on the skin close to where Latisse® is applied and sometimes in the eyes.

Any darkening of the eyelid skin may be reversible. However, Latisse® may increase brown pigmentation in the colored part of the eye, a condition that is likely to be permanent.
