Herbert D. Stern, M.D.


Education and Training

Herbert D. Stern, M.D., a well-trained and experienced plastic surgeon, is Medical Director for the Premiere Center for Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Stern graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Queens College of the City University of New York, majoring in chemistry and biology. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1969 from New York University School of Medicine. He then completed his general surgery training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. During this five-year training program, Dr. Stern served as both the Senior and Chief Resident. Following general surgery, Dr. Stern was at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York for his plastic surgery residency training; he served as Chief Resident during the third year of this training.



Licensure and Specialty Board Certification

Dr. Stern has been licensed by the states of New York, West Virginia and Virginia. He is actively licensed in Florida. Dr. Stern has been certified in both Advanced Cardiac and Basic Life support. He has also been granted certification by several highly reputable boards such as:

  • American Board of Plastic Surgery
  • American Board of Surgery
  • National Board of Medical Examiners
  • American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians
  • American Board of Plastic Surgery - Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand


Military

Dr. Stern was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy in July of 1971. During his service, Dr. Stern was stationed at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Orlando, Florida where he was in charge of the Emergency Department and established the Outpatient Surgery Clinic. He served until June of 1973, when he was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Commander. At the time of his discharge, Dr. Stern received a Naval Letter of Commendation for his work in organizing and leading the hospital’s Rapid Deployment Surgical Support Team.

Howard N. Robinson, MD


Education and Training

Dr. Robinson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1968 from St. Louis University School of Arts and Sciences. He graduated in 1972 from St. Louis University School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine degree. During his medical studies, Dr. Robinson resided at the following well-known institutions:

  • University of Florida
  • St. John's Mercy Medical Center
  • University of Illinois Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine


Licensure and Certification

Dr. Robinson has been certified by the National Board as well as the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is currently certified in the states of Florida, Missouri, and Illinois.



Publications and Presentations

Being highly respected in his field, Dr. Robinson has been given the privilege and honor of contributing to the never-ending process of learning and research through several medical publications and presentations. In addition, Dr. Robinson has also held positions as Instructor of Surgery at the University of Illinois and as a Lecturer at Cook County Graduate School of Medicine.

He was a founding member, a member of the Executive Committee, President and Secretary of the Broward County Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Dr. Robinson also belongs to the Greater Miami Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, where he has had the honor of holding the positions of President and Secretary. Dr. Robinson is also a member and involved in the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Florida Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Florida Medical Association and the Broward County Medical Association.

Education and Training

Dr. Mark Francis Blake is a well-known Weston surgeon who takes pride in his community. He has performed hundreds of surgical procedures. He has a personal passion for his work and takes pride in every patient’s complete satisfaction.

Dr. Blake graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Biology and earned his M.D. at the University of Sint Eustatius School of Medicine, and has worked at both Providence hospital and North Oakland Medical Center conducting General and Plastic Surgery – winning numerous professional awards during his career.
