When an augmentation utilizing saline implants is performed, the breast implants are surgically placed directly under the breast tissue or beneath the chest wall muscle. Once in place, the implant shells are filled with the saline solution. Depending on the desired results of your augmentation, the saline breast implants will be filled until desired fullness, symmetry, and overall shape is achieved. Saline implants are both safe and affordable. Silicone implants function in a similar manner except they are filled with a pre-determined amount of medical-grade silicone. Both silicone and saline implants are safe and affordable.
 
The cosmetic plastic surgeons at PREMIERE help patients determine where the breast implants should be placed depending on each individual woman’s anatomy and/or preferences. The Board Certified plastic surgeons at PREMIERE make the incisions inconspicuously around the areola or under the breast in the crease to minimize visible scarring. An augmentation is a one to two-hour procedure, with minimal post-operative discomfort and little down-time.
